To sum it up…
After a long awaited release from the doctor to get back to racing, I got my wish on the 5th of August. After 1 week back in the gym, and 4 days of riding, I decided I wanted to get straight back to racing knowing that I was not at all in condition to do so. As the end of the 2012 season was nearing with each passing day, I only wanted to get back behind yet another gate drop. I got that wish August 17th in the British GP. Only then did I realize the quote of "being careful what you wish" for is something to pay attention to. Either way, I was happy I was racing, and being...

My life has been on the couch for the last month and damn do I hate this. As most of you know, I am at home resting with a lovely case of Mono. Not sure what other “Non life threatening” virus or injury could be a worse one for me to have. Training, racing, and working towards goals of mine is what I love to live for. Those 3 things have become a part of me. Although a part of me, certainly not all of me… During the first week of June, I was diagnosed with Mono. Apparently something I’ve had for some weeks prior to the news the doctor gave me June 9th. The French GP June 3rd,...

So, I am in England at the moment, just back in from the GP in Bulgaria. Got a deal worked out with Steve Dixon here with Monster Energy Yamaha to do two GP’s. Been a hell of a week. Literally. “laughs”… Last Monday, after pondering the thought of coming back to the GP’s I decided to give it a shot, and pack my bags. Things in the states were getting harder and harder, and honestly driving to Washington and Seattle, was just too expensive. I feel I learned a lot this year in Supercross. I came home from the last two years in Europe, and put something together with a few people that believed...

Well, I guess this week was just not quite as progressing as the last 5. I wanted to go out on this break with a bang, and honestly I felt the best I have thus far leading up to my get off in the first practice. LOL. The most promising 4 laps I had all season, ended pretty quickly. Finally a track that suited me well, and things clicked into place after a difficult week. Tuesday prior to San Diego, I had a crash at the practice track. It was one of those crashes where you luckily slide out at the end of a slippery start stretch, and end up grinding your skin off instead of plowing yourself...

The first 5
Well the first 5 races are complete as we head into the San Diego round before things move out to the east coast. Sitting where I am today, looking back and writing that first blog the night before A1, is pretty surreal. It was a dream of mine for 2 years to come back to the states and make things work. Never had a goal as far as results, but I knew I wanted to put myself up there. Driving home the night after A1 missing the main by 1 position, I was devastated. Honestly I had thought I made a mistake by spending so much money, and trying to pursue something that seemed a little...
